In order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the 1987 release of the cult classic the Princess Bride, development studio Worldwide Biggies announced the creation of the Princess Bride Game. Worldwide Biggies has stated that the game will feature top notch in-game animation along a gameplay style designed to attract the casual player and the adventure game lover, while providing both with top quality narrative.

In the Princess Bride Game, players will make their way through the events that fans of the film already know so well. The Princess and the Dread Pirate Westley will have to evade the actions of the evil Count Rugen, the six fingered man, and Prince Humperdink, along with their miscellaneous minions in addition to braving the dangers of the Fire Swamp, finding and stashing important items in the inventory, making miracles in an easy to swallow pill, and hope for good luck while storming the castle of the cowardly Prince.

The “Your Studio” contains numerous bonus materials, such as interviews with the design and development teams responsible for the creation of the Princess Bridge Game, along with unique artwork, gameplay details, and character biographies. All of the well-known characters from the film will be present for the Princess Bride Game and can be either played or played with as the game goes along, including Princess Buttercup, Westley, Inigio Montoya, Fezzik the Giant, Vizzini, and Miracle Max.
